ADVANCED Composites Pvt., Ltd., an ISO 9001 company, was incorporated in 1988 and is situated at Bicholim Industrial Estate, Bicholim, Goa. The company manufactures various products reinforced by glass and hybrid fibre for defence applications, such as FRP Filament Wound Launch Tubes for guided missiles, Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher Tubes, Limpet Mine Body Assemblies, High Pressure Compression Moulded Components for guided missiles, Module Assemblies, Fabric Prepregs, and FRP Logistic Containers.

Many of the products are indigenous and are import substitutes, which save valuable foreign exchange for the country.

Apart from products for the defence sector, the company also manufactures reverse osmosis pressure vessels in different sizes and pressure ratings with in-house machined end fitments for the water treatment industry and pressure tanks for D.M. Plants.

The company's customer base includes defence production units, laboratories of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and leading water treatment plant manufacturers in the country. It is equipped with state-of-the-art filament winding equipment, ancillary equipment and full-fledged machining and testing facilities.
